Small doses of pride
Injected slowly
Over time

He grows a new head
Bigger than the last

Still feels like dirt
Beneath the shiny surface

Sharing criticisms
Unwanted
Making silent enemies
Unknown

When the walls fall
He's all alone

Bared beneath the sun
Exposed for all he isn't

Suffering
His new name

Justice
His fate

For some reason "Histrionic Personality Disorder" popped into my head after reading this. Lol. A good lesson in putting up face that doesn't come close to the truth.
