Goddamn that dog
Goddamn that girl
She was my wife
She was my world
There goes my truck
What the fuck?
I hate my life

Well it all started one night in the studio
I called my wife up, said I was coming home
She was outta breath, and never told a lie
She said it was just her and the dog all night
I hung up the phone, started gettin' worried
And I got me and my truck back home in a hurry

Goddamn that dog
Goddamn that girl
She was my wife
She was my world
There goes my truck
What the fuck?
I hate my life

Well when I got home, there was no one in the drive
The lights were off, I wondered if there was anyone alive
I got my gun, and walked in as fast as I could
There were noises from the bedroom, and they didn't sound good
I busted down the door, finger on the trigger
And saw my dog pounce my wife like Tigger
In all the commotion, I shot my dog
And my wife ran away, took my truck and Boss Hog

Goddamn that dog
Goddamn that girl
She was my wife
She was my world
There goes my truck
What the fuck?
I hate my life
