You gave me the strength to face the world
You showed me how beautiful I was inside
You showed me innocence and how to have pride
You are my world, my love, you are my girl

I remember before I met you
I was in high school and the world was so cruel
I wanted to die quite a few times
Not because I didn't want to live, but because I didn't think I should survive

You gave me the strength to face the world
You showed me how beautiful I was inside
You showed me innocence and how to have pride
You are my world, my love, you are my girl

I remember before I met you
I was so afraid of the world outside
I remember how people would just try to hide
When I walked by, this always made me so blue

You gave me the strength to face the world
You showed me how beautiful I was inside
You showed me innocence and how to have pride
You are my world, my love, you are my girl

You were the first one who wasn't afraid of me
I told you upfront about my horrid deeds
Then you held my hand and said it'll be alright
Because of you I have the strength to fight

You gave me strength to face this world
You showed me how beautiful I was inside
You showed me innocence and how to have pride
You are my world, my love, you are my girl

Andrew that was really beautiful. Lucky girl, and lucky you to have found her! ;) Nice job!
