I had a great idea
one you'd never forget
a wonderfully grand poem
in the perfect set

but i forgot it
what can i say
so i'm writing this
hoping it'll come back someday

It was the perfect subject
with a great style
it'd make you laugh then cry
and then just make you smile

It was full of beautiful visions
you could just sit and picture
short and simple, but complex
not my usual ammature

but its gone
so i'll just move on
and maybe when i sleep tonite
i'll remember it

until then
i'm sorry to have wasted your time
with this stupid whiney poem of mine
so you can just go away now
and leave me to my memory
or lack thereof
