the moon hangs full
whispering lush silk
as the sky drips midnight
so deep blue and thick
it almost hurts to breathe
unless it's in sighs

that sultry intake of oxygen
lingering through every cell
slipping sweet on fantastic notions
to be released in a languid
almost whispered decadence
a teasing across wanting lips

i raise my hand to dream-touch the stars
and i'm reminded how luminescent
every fiber of my being becomes
in the warm embrace of your gaze
a simple sweeping of twilight eyes
that instills a glowing scintillation

the constellations awaken and sing soft
their voices almost angelic and haunting
as this ghost becomes lost in dreaming
embracing a memory of perfection floating
a paroxysm of ethereal passion radiating
utopia suspended divine in reverie

so tonight the sky drips midnight
and the earth must move eternal
while twilight cradles closely
a moonflower sighing for lost infinity

There aren't words, hon.I don't mean that to be any kind of slight to you. It's like...standing over Sid Vicious's grave...what the hell are you going to say that...would mean anything?

Why there are no comments on this is beyond me?! Pure, tranquil, relaxed. Every line a pull towards inner peace & vivid, lush scenes. You are still most amazing my friend! *hugs* (there's magic in your words Doe).
