Emotional Warfare

I saw her today...
With him

Emotions
Both enemies and allies:
A surprise attack

Envy pushed and shoved me
Beckoning impulse

Anger grabbed me by the throat
Whispering in my ear

Confidence put an arm on my shoulder
Showing support for bloodshed

Doubt ran away
Knowing my capabilities

Hatred withdrew a shining sword from it's sheath
Reminding me who's to blame for this

Love grabbed the blade & shoved it through my chest
Screaming of her happiness all the while

Defeat walked over my corpse
Laughing hysterically
