The anguish she feels causes her mind to reel
As she tries to sleep away her woes
As her world is turned upside down
She feels as if she could drown
And she feels herself sinking lower and lower
No one knows her mind better than herself
As she reaches for her journal on the bookshelf
To write of her bad days and sleepless nights
She is misguided by life's encouragement to survive
As she continues to believe that she can only thrive
If she heeds to the disillusion that she can make it
She plummets down into herself as she hides within
The lies she tells herself causing her mind to spin
The avoidance and aimlessness she feels and the final reclamation
of her heart.. Is it enough to save her? From herself?
