Disappointed and dejected
She runs away and shields her teary eyes and crimson cheeks from those who cross her path
She is beaten down once more as the light of hope she had acquired diminishes and becomes nothing more than a tiny speck
Her mind brings her back to those frightening moments when she was pushed down and thrown away like a piece of trash
She tries to distract herself from those memories but fails in her endeavor
As she is swept away by the moments she is embraced by and touched by the violence as it envelopes her
