A copied truth of memories plus
Shed a tear for weeping thoughts
Call the wind and stop the rain
I saw the end of September today
Dance about and fling for joy
A lie is but truths secret told
Blind your eyes and sting your skin
Bite your lips and repeat again
I saw the end of September today
Confess your sins and split your thumbs
Clap to the sky with heavens above
Live a life and die a death
Curse yourself for flaws with in
Write the words and spin the lines
I saw the end of September today
But with all the travels on dirt of old
With all the spins that went unbroke
A heart of gold lined with soot
Dig up the past dig up your feet
Walk on out and say after me
I saw the end of September today.
