You do not define me,
I define myself.
You are not the center of the universe,
I am the center of my own universe.
I am not important,
I just am.
I am.
I am.
I am.
I am. I say with vindication, sounding much like beating of the hollow heart which helps me to live.
Live, only in the sense that it pumps the blood around my body, bringing oxygen to necessary locations.
It does not lead me to love and happiness.
I am not in love because
I do not believe in love.
Love is for the naive
who do not understand human emotion.

I am not a cynic,
I understand reality.
You are not perfection,
I will never be either.
There is no us,
There is only you and
There is only me and
I just am.
I am.
I am.
I am.
I am.

I'll be fine if things change, for better or worse. And you'll always be in my head.
