Why do those who love us hurt us so?
Why do they hurt us by what they do or not do?
We have ESP running through our veins,
so we know when the other is in pain.
Today I wondered if my sister was dying or just in despair.
Her ex had sent a text to say one of her sons was in deep crap.
A meaningless text from me to check she is alive, she has nothing with which to unwrap.
I don't understand she says your son was stuffed from birth,
mine had all I could give, all my worth.
What can you say from 300 kilometres away
to ensure she makes the new day.
