Warm tranquility soaking into my skin,
The earth's gentle breath on my face,
I walk among fragrant green plants in the moonlight.
Barefoot with my hair unbound, I feel
That I'm one with all that surrounds me.
I reach to caress the delicate velvet of a flower,
Careful that my touch does not mar its perfection.
The trees hold a secret power within;
I can feel their wisdom and grace.
Everywhere, simple miracles are in my sight.
Reverently, I pay my respects and kneel
Before Nature's beauty which astounds me.
I lie down and wonder, wrapped in the silence of the hour,
Whether the stars I admire return my affection.
