Smart and creative, my favorite vacation
Was the vast world of my imagination.
I was a hungry stray dog taken in by a stranger,
Then I was marrying the white power ranger.
I left him for the rich prince I met at a ball;
A simple, loyal Cinderella I wasn't at all.
I'll never forget how I screamed like a fool
When my sister, the shark, bit me in the pool,
Or making a disaster of my room when my brother
And I were cheetahs viciously fighting each other.
I didn't worry about which wrong paths I would take,
I just enjoyed playing in the mud at the lake.
These silly, common things used to seem small to me,
But I've realized how powerful is a happy memory.
If you've left yours like a forgotten book on a shelf,
I think you should reopen that part of yourself.
