The stars, it seems
have lost their glow
this eve

(they've got nothing on you, to me)

The snow on these leaves
ever.so serene
while we lay here now

(a perfect paradise, for none to see)

++

And it appears
We've finally earned
Penance
Rest for these busted teeth
And swollen hands
[interlaced]

For at one time
We were
Lost
In the depths of this feeling
And now we must fight
The same depths of our ravaged souls
(forever and always)

.

But your breath
Still warms these stiffened digits
Even when your touch is like
[Ice]

And I'm not frostbitten yet
./

And so we shall dance,
Like candles in the breeze
And your eyes are the flames
Staring down my soul
(But I enjoy the heat)

So keep me warm
Babe
We only have each other
Anyways

And we are but one
Broken only at our faults
Much like the
Earthquake,
We create.
