Sometimes I hope that our
hearts are pounding together..

wishing they were woven
into one piece..

Let's use your heart to patch mine..
my heart to patch yours..

if you'll let my fingers do the sewing.

Tracing the arches.. the slants..
the stars within your eyes..
and your lips meeting mine.

Every glance..
the brushing of my palm
on yours hinting forever
can't be that far away..
We've made it already.

Staring up..
catching your hearts
floating back down to mine..
dancing together at our toes
in the sands of two different worlds..
But one world..
All the same.

Drowning in your skies.
Pulling myself from the wreckage
of the destruction I live..
meeting your eyes at the same time.

Your hand.. my cheek..
my lips.. your neck..
and it's nothing but what it is..

.us.

Fly through my starry skies tonight..
perch and kiss the sun in the morning
when I raise my head to find you..
Everything that's unmistakeably perfect.

Wrap your arms around me tonight..
thank the moon that our
clocks are the same everyday..
for what seems like forever
but can't be that far away.

I can't help but love you..
