I struggle to understand
The meaning of this holy day
It seems, that I once knew
But now, I have lost my faith

In silence, white and cold
Snow falls on my heart and soul
No star adorns my barren tree
Nothing underneath for me

For there’s no Christmas
No Christmas here
No Christmas
No holiday cheer

There is no more Christmas
Since you went away
No more Christmas
Since God took you away

Wind blows bloodless light
Dripping from neighbor’s eaves
Mocking a season’s tears
And the child lost in me

Carolers stalk outside my door
Tormenting me with eerie song
Ruining a silent night
The spirit here is dead and gone

For there’s no Christmas
No Christmas here
No Christmas
No more love in here

There is no more Christmas
Since you went away
No more Christmas
Since God took you away

I only need one thing
Nothing that fat man brings
My life is wrapped in blue

I only want one thing
Something he can’t bring
All I want is you

For there’s no Christmas
No Christmas here
No Christmas
No holiday cheer

There is no more Christmas
Since you went away
No more Christmas
Since God took you away

I pray, that where you are
It is Christmas always
And as for the rest of you
Have a joyous holiday

For there is no Christmas here
