The final act,
Words that once spoke to me
So honestly, so free

Once,
Like a scream in my soul
Turned to a whisper

Like a pouring rain, reduced to nothing more
Than a sprinkle,

A mind that’s lost its signal
A heart lacking “rhythm”

Such a never-ending soliloquy
Has finally drawn its last breath

The curtain falls
At long last,
The performance is done
